Harrington Nursery & Teaching School & Derby Opportunity Area

I became familiar with Launchpad for Literacy several years ago and immediately recognised the quality of the tool and how it could be used effectively within my setting. Having had great success using Launchpad for Literacy in my own school, I wanted to share this success across Derby City. The Teaching School did this by introducing Launchpad for Literacy through our Early Phonics package and at a later date as part of our phonic work for the Opportunity Area. The feedback has been very positive and the results speak for themselves. Launchpad is a highly effective tool which supports children to acquire the skills and knowledge they need to become effective readers and life-long learners.
